Most people find reading and writing in English easier than speaking but unless you’re planning on handing the waiter a little handwritten note every time you’d like to order a coffee, it might be an idea to speak the language too 😉
Once we start learning a new language, we get so caught up with learning long lists of verbs, nouns, pronouns, etc. thinking this will get us closer to the goal. And yet, after years of doing just that, we find ourselves still stuck learning words. That is because one of the most difficult things to get comfortable with, is the ability to carry on a conversation. We freeze up, forget the vocabulary and then… give up. Well, no more I say!
This conversational course is the perfect opportunity to practice real-world conversations. And the only way to do that, is well, to speak! We learn how to communicate in a natural way, just like the natives do.
Once a week, a few of us get together to chat in English. No stress, no pressure and no boring English lectures. Just a small group of people who would like to improve their English language skills with like-minded people. Of course, we also learn new vocabulary, improve pronunciation and communicate more effectively with confidence.
This course is specifically aimed at individuals with an English language proficiency between A2 and B1 on the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). See the levels explained.
